Nurse looks like he might be a beast in the NHL, I hope he stays down for a year though. As far as the coaching, it would be great to have Babs, but I would be OK with nothing changing also. If they do hire another coach, I hope Nelson sticks around as an assistant. He could be a good one.

Holland has said he will not be granting ANY teams permission to talk to him prior to June 30. Who knows if that will change if contract talks dont go well this week.

People need to move on from this. Its funny still seeing Leafs fans trying to clamour for a way to get McDavid but its getting old and stupid. (frank)ing let it go already. And they need to stop all these stupid trade proposals for other top 6-7 picks. Teams rarely trade those picks.

I dont think Babcock is technically a free agent yet,June 30th, that would be my guess. So you would need permission from the Wings to talk to him, and I dont think the Wings are willing for that to happen yet.
