Jabroni man... 4,5,6 are the only ones that arent completely insane.
1 is insane cause we are hiring one of the c0cks. Hitch or Babs. - Oilfan19
(frank) the Hitchcock I'd rather stick with Nelson than hire him. |

The goalie is wearing more protective gear than anyone else on the ice and that is the risk you take when you go out to play the puck. You can see it with goalies all the time playing the puck, they just turn their back to the player and suddenly they become invincible and just run interference. - Horseguts
Yeah but most times they are at a stand still or very slow, and are wearing really poopty helmets. I have no problem with a little bump here and there. But if you give free reign to players hitting goalies that leave the crease then the league will start losing goalies fast. |

Really? I would like to see Hitch work the hell out of these boys. He's kinda the last old school type coach.
Funny story with him, he coached my uncle way back in the day, and day 1 of tryouts he put 2 garbage bins on the ice. He said if you need to puke theres a bin as each end of the ice but if you leave the ice, don't come back. |

If they won't allow them to be hit then I would be ok with more penalties being called on them running interference.
It really bugs me that goalies can do this crap but cannot be touched. Bishop did this a bunch last night, hell I would have run him over too eventually. All goalies have gotten into the habit of it. |

Exactly my problem with him. He just doesn't seem to grow with the times despite having easily one of the most dominant rosters of any team in the past few years. This will inevitably lead to him losing his effectiveness unless we can somehow manage to get two top pairing Dmen before the season starts. I'm not convinced that he's all that great of a coach, especially considering the direction the NHL is going (more offensive-minded).
He also seems to have the same approach to young players that Eakins seemed to have, which- last I checked- was a serious problem for Yakupov fans. |

I have no problem with them standing in the way, but when they throw the body it pisses me off. I believe thats Leighton in the picture right? I really doubt he didnt get called for that one. |

Good points actually. Didnt even think about the young guy thing. If I were to play devils advocate I would say look at Terasenko but other than that yeah. I still have my heart set on Babs though |

Maybe something like this would stop it from happening and then the corner areas could be removed to help protect dmen.

Meh, I would rather get rid of the trapezoid all together and add a rule restricting alot of the interference by goalies. |

the original meaning for the swastika symbol is "well-being" or "good" they weren't seen as negative until after the Germans started using them. |

Yeah there are old statues of Buddha carrying that symbol long before the Nazis got a hold of it. |

Tarasenko is a very, VERY different player from Yak, though. Vlad came to the league as a surprisingly complete player because he had been leading his team in the KHL in virtually every facet for a couple of years. He's also more physically capable, more versatile offensively, more confident (from his years dominating the KHL), and- no offense to Yak but- he's also SO much smarter on the ice. He's simply a dominant force in so many facets.
It also helps when you have Pietro and Shattenkirk on the backend orchestrating the play. |

(frank) Tanner sucks, he is set in stone that OEL is god's gift to hockey.
I tried to sneak in a Cloutier comparison to him but I guess he didn't pick up on it. |
