I wish they would allow a goalie to get hit if he leaves his crease to play the puck, too many goalies have mastered the art of interference now because they are "untouchable". Take Bishop for example, I bet he could have been called for at least 3 penalties alone last night. I say make goalies fair game to hit outside the blue paint.

It drives me nuts to see goalies go around back of the net to play the puck and then completely block a player out because he is not allowed to be touched, I would love to see those situations end with the goalie getting steamrolled.

Meh, I used to think that way too but I've changed my thought process because of 2 reasons.

1. injuries to goalies. Very hard to protect yourself when you cant skate very fast, and if your a top goalie guys would be killing you.

2. Goalies playing the puck in the corners would help from dmen getting killed and reduce injuries.. aka get rid of the trapezoid poop.

The goalie is wearing more protective gear than anyone else on the ice and that is the risk you take when you go out to play the puck. You can see it with goalies all the time playing the puck, they just turn their back to the player and suddenly they become invincible and just run interference.

That would definitely make for some interesting hockey....
