We need another goal scorer and a good PP D man, goalie we can worry about later.

The Sharks seem lost but IMO they won't move Pavelski or Couture.
- SABRES 89

We'll they'd be dumb to do so
But they're in a rough spot
McClellan was a good coach. He wasn't the problem

Martin Jones is not a starter, neither is Robyn Lehner. Pass on both
- SABRES 89

They still could be, but I'm not sold on either of them
Haven't seen enough to convince me

We do NEED a goalie though

We do want to start the climb up the standings
A good goalie helps that quite a bit
Look at Calgary & the Isles
They made big leaps BC they finally got a competent goalie
The Oilers sucked again BC they didn't
Arizona also fell apart BC Smith was so bad for 3/4 the season

Really?!
Hmmm... I'll bite...
What makes u say that?

I like McClellan a lot, but Babcock seems like a great coach & has the résumé to back it up

Maybe...
But two in the group I mentioned?
I guess that would make sense if Murray could make the deals
Let them fight it out

But signing Lindback, Neuvirth, Enroth, etc doesn't really count IMO as getting a goalie
None of those guys have "Franchise Goalie" potential IMO

- jdfitz77

Ive always had a soft spot for Enroth, I remember after drafting him, I read how Detroit really liked him. Made me like Enroth more.

Like I said,
He will absolutely come back if offered a contract
I was impressed with his play here
I don't think Dallas re-signs him. They'll prob bring Campbell up to the big club. They might even try to trade Lehtonen

I agree, would be a very smart signing. If they would have taken Randy Gregory at 50, and sign Collins, could have walked away with two first round talents without a first round pick.

it starts with winning the division

you need top end talent to beat the pats, not choir boys

sign him

Agreed. Its good to see Ryan flying out. To be honest not a bills fan. But I like what they are doing. I can actually see them signing Collins. And thats a move that could really improve their line.

Why would Williams sign here for 2yrs?
He should be able to find a playoff contender that can give him decent $$$
Is Green even any good offensively anymore? Or is he living off his rep?
I think for any of those guys to sign here, we'd not only need to offer top$$$, we'd also have to make it at least a 5yr deal

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

and green had 17 points on pp this year, more assists then pk this season

team has money, a lot of money so anything can happen

they can offer green 19 mil for 2 years

how many teams can do that?

Sure they "could" do that...
But why would they?

Ppl keep saying we can throw more $$$ than anyone else, but that didn't work with Parise, Suter, Richards, etc

I doubt we make some crazy offer to these guys u mention
So I'd guess they'll be choosing teams where they have a better chance to win now

Projected forwards for next year...
Without Reinhart & Larsson

Kane-Eichel-Ennis
Moulson-Girgensons-Hodgson
Foligno-Grigorenko-Gionta
Deslauriers-McCormick- (open spot)

*if Reinhart makes it, he's prob the 2nd or 3rd line center. So Grigorenko gets bumped down a notch to 4th line duty.

Until this team has achieved anything in the playoffs or gets that big shinny trophy, they can not dictate having "good guys only".

He wasn't ever a suspect per the police.

Would not surprise me to see a lawsuit from him at some point (not that he'll win).

He should be signed asap.

They are in the 2nd rd of the playoffs currently and one/two are going to the WCF.

Richards did make a SCF with the Rangers too.

I would offer NYIs 1st, Ennis, and two prospects if needed. I dont care if he is soft, he can skate, and score.
