The way I see it (and my opinion doesn't mean much), Rex is a players' coach. They like and respect him, all at once. I think he keeps these guys in line.

Johnson really doesn't matter. One year left. I believe his deal is for something in the neighborhood of 1.35 million. Put him in the minors, only cost 450k on the cap, and you can bring in two goalies you want .
