I so want the Sabres to trade into the top 10 this season. Ship Grigorenko or Larsson + bunch of picks to Carolina for the 5th overall. If Hanifin falls take him if not hello Marner.

jake muzzin and alec Martinez are curious as to how they dropped behind mcnabb on the depth chart
- Michael Pachla

I was only kidding. I actually was never a big McNabb fan, but I guess he's played quite well

I want Tim Murray to go after, either or BOTH :

MARK STONE (22yrs old) Love this guy!

Teresenko (Offer Sheet this STAR Goal Scorer!)

I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on Hurricanes, goal scorer with concussion issues, Jeff Skinner! (Only 22yrs old and could be a game changer.....

I want an Audi R8 and just like your wishlist, mine will not ever be completed.

Here's some old socks, a half eaten cheeseburger, some paper clips and an empty sandwich baggie. Now give me your car.

Yeah. Going to take a bit more (better) to crack the top 5 again.

It only took 6 pages. But if i were to bet on a member or two to catch my weirdo comment about Russian team names, it would be you or NFPH.
Slow time of the year for us sabres fans, so i comment on what ever doesnt matter.
Just having fun!

They finished the year with 6 more points than Chicago and 1 less than the Ducks. They also lead the NHL in goals scored......thus I think they can "keep up" with anybody. Do you not??
- Homer

I wasn't sure until tonight, but I didn't see any of their first series games...

That I can't do.

Boss is out of town that week but we're closed Fri-Sun that week so I don't have to be to work the following day after Sheepdogs.

I'm on my way to pick up ROR from the airport.

That should fill the empty baggie with the other half of cheeseburger......

Let's say the NYi pick ends up 21st
#21 + Grigorenko, gets us how high?
Who would be interested in him?

Because Patrick Roy knows him, i could see him take a chance on him. But I bet he would try to play it like he would be doing us a favor by taking Grigorenko off our hands and I don't think GMTM is a sucker like that.

They're at the point of build where it would be time to make a "big" trade. They've got a solid team at the NHL level and some assets to dangle. I expect Bergevin to be busy this summer.

I think that gets us to 10ish. Keep in mind that the tiers of players, as I'm to understand, is basically 1-2, 3-5, 6-10, 11-20, 21-?

I thought the Patrick Sharp supporters have all ran for the caves. Again.....

Why do people think he's so great. How does he fit this rebuild? He had a terrible year on an awesome team. He's 33 and will be 34 mid season. The Sabres will highly..highly likely not be sniffing the playoffs next year. The year after, I see a finish in the 8-10 range. So let's say we make the playoffs in 2 years from now. Sharp would be 36. And we wouldn't even be serious contenders. So then, let's say, magically we are serious contenders in 3 years from now. That would make him 37 in the playoffs. So we've got a bunch of 20 some year olds, a couple free agent 30 year olds an Patrick 37 year old Sharp. Tell me where in this universe does that make sense. As a free agent, fine, sign him for a few years. I'm sure he'll be grossly overpaid. But to use a first round asset on him is extremely counter productive.

The Devils have a completely empty farm system. I almost wish their pick was a bit lower - I think it is unlikely that they would trade out of it no matter how much was offered to them.

To *some team around #10*:
- Isles pick
- Both our seconds
- Grigs

To Buffalo: #10ish pick

The truth is that at this point we probably already have too many bodies in our system (you're only allowed 50 contracts at a time) and tons of kids coming. Quality over quantitiy.

Definitely would rather have Provorov and his elite offensive acumen. If we sit on the pick, I'd take Jeremy Roy.

We need this kind of player so badly in the organization.
