Exactly. Now, I don't know that Sharp would be one of those type of guys, but he's been around a while and been through it with young guys (See Kane & Toews) so it's not like he hasn't been in this type of situation before.

I'm happy with Gionta in that way.

Former captain. Played his ass off the last half of the year. Almost cost us, and at the time I hated it, but now that we're seemingly safe (hopefully Jack doesn't pull any funny business), I admire the way Gionta led by example.

Last season he did squat . Along with the rest of the team. He wasn't what I expected as far as a producer. Or helper.

I honestly have no idea what Marchand would cost. It's going to be hard to gauge too, since Chiarelli got fired. Have they even named a new GM yet? I don't remember hearing if they did, but I may have missed it.

Gorges is another guy that these guys can look to. He may not be a high skill guy, but he hates to lose and leaves it all out on the ice. He doesn't hide how he feels with the media, so I'm assuming he doesn't in the locker room either. We definitely have a couple vets on the team already that fit the bill, but with the amount of youth we have, another one probably couldn't hurt.
