I'm tired of looking at Marchand's rat face, too. Can we fire him?

Cassidy has been relieved of his duties in Rochester. Can't say I'm surprised.

He had a turnover of 55 players. How can he be blamed?

Don't think he is being blamed, I think its more so Murray can get his guys in place.

People can say they want someone with no ties to Murray but sports guys especially hockey guys want to work with people they have worked in the past. It's a familiarity thing.

It happens in football (look at Rex Ryan's staff) it happens in hockey (the Blackhawks had like 47 Bowman's it seemed at one point). It's how sports goes.

It may not have anything to do with his performance and everything to do with just going in a different direction. My guess would be that when they bring in a new coach, that coach will have a say in who coaches in Rochester, as it's usually best to have the same type of system being played in the AHL as the NHL.

But honestly, I wasn't impressed with what he did this year. I thought that while the team had a lot of turnover, they still should have finished better than they did. Especially when most of that turnover didn't take place until close to the TDL.

Buffalo or another NHL job. If not then maybe he is in Rochester I would put it at like 5%

Heard he's not interested in anything but an NHL head coach.

I'm kind of confused by Richardson. The reports that he doesn't want to be further away from his daughter(?) during her senior year at Cornell makes it seem like his interest is leaning more toward next year. Out of all of the NHL spots open so far, Buffalo is probably the closest to Cornell, but I am confused about those comments.

Just put her in a dorm and let her grow up and become independent. And you're right, it's not that far away.

I'm not sure I'm 100% sold on him. I'd rather have Bylsma if both Babcock and MacClellan are gone. Just because of the NHL experience.

Isn't Babcock pretty good with developing or utilizing young players? MacClellan made good use of players like Pavelski and Couture.

It is weird that Vatanen was slated to play for them and not Risto.

I have to ask why? Vatanen has been for more impressive so far in his NHL career.
