Those three were very influential.

A couple need mentioning, he died young but was the really good guitarist, Randy Rhoads and can't forget Stevie Ray Vaughan

Ture. Lets face it. Big amps have only been out for 50 years. Marshall amps were invented in 1962, by a drum maker Mr. Marshall. Funny the guys that would hang out in his drum shop before they became, well rather famous. A young kid named Eric Clapton, Pete Townsend, and Roger Daltery. Fender only had small amps for the to use prior. So, they could only play small venues until Marshall came along.

Let's face it, there are 5 year old kids that play so well, they make me want to set fire to the guitars I have. They all learned from the great players before them, and they will only get better.

I am sure there are a couple of pics of him playing one.

Richard Starkey Jr.,[2] MBE (born 7 July 1940), better known by his stage name Ringo Starr, is an English drummer, singer, songwriter, producer, and actor who gained worldwide fame as the drummer for the Beatles

I think people would think I would add Jimi Hendrix, but he was such a choppy and clumsy player, although studio wise, All along the Watchtower is probably the best remaking of a song ever.

He's not clumsy, he's high.
