I believe the leafs motto should simply be..."We the Leafs".
It could be their motto and explaining for every assinine thing they do.

Why would a crappy team trade to first rounder for a young scorer........"We the leafs".

We not start the rebuild at the begining of the season to give yourselves a better chance at McDavid instead of falling into it accidentally in january? Cause "We the Leafs".

Speaking of Zeppelin, I have all the vinyl's that I bought, all the CD's followed, then the box set and now a few of the new remasters.

This is where we disagree. I would put Floyd ahead of Zepplin, only because I grew up on Floyd, didn't grow up too much on Zepplin. Mom was an eccentric Disco\Classic Rock music head. It went from Donna Summer to Peter Brown to Fleetwood Mac to Floyd. It was all over the map, but long road trips were always accompanied by Rumours, The Wall or Dark Side Of The Moon.

It's funny because I have picked that eccentric attribute up from her and practically listen to everything, including EDM (dance music kids listen to these days). No country though.

McDavid-RNH is a great 1-2, and it is yet to be determined how good Draisatl will be.
Having a god 2 as your 3C makes up for a lot of lacking.

Trade yak or Eberle for help elsewhere. Keep the C's, for 3 years anyway.

this is the same philosophy that has got the oilers in this mess in the first place.. you hold onto too much forward talent and end up with an unbalanced lineup

That is why I have Floyd basically side by side with Zeppelin, listening to all their albums, I still place Wish You Were Here ahead of all others, the sound, lyrics and compositions are outstanding on that record.

That album is extremely underrated. I love Watters, but Gilmour has filled the void nicely when they couldn't play nice and get along throughout some of their tours.
