He's listed at 5' 11". Seems short when you look at him, but he's got that shifty elusiveness. He's Russian though, so it's not like he would hit anybody even if he was bigger.
There's a couple nice highlight videos on YouTube. Quick shot release, good skater.

Now will he get repeat offender status? - stljam
Only one more player to go. He is now a repeat offender. Unlike Shaw, it will be for something he actually did. lol
Go lurk the Wings' thread. They are posting videos and calling a clean hit when you can see the elbow going right into Kucherov's face. Unreal.

I think Slava might still be better. Damn, was he good. - Elbows15
If you haven't already, see the doc "Red Army" - it's about the decline of the Red Army team after the wall came down and after Tikhonov was fired as coach, and about Fetisov and the other Russian skaters came to the NHL, some with Scotty Bowman's Cup-winning Red Wings.
Not a great movie - I was hoping for more on the dominant Tikhonov-led teams - but worth seeing.

So are they acting like certain Canucks fans?
I have to get home to pack my gear for my own game. At least I won't miss any games tonight
The little shat outscore Kovalchuck by a goal and five assists, Pretty solid on the wide ice defensively. 170 pounds and NOT 5 11.
He can pick a corneer and rifle it that seems a certainty from the tape.
