I believe I might be correct about it not being Wednesday. Buildings that teams play in have to be able to schedule around other events. The UC has that basketball team it has to work with, among other things. I'm sure there are other facets involved as well - travel, TV schedules, ect.

There has to be some structure to scheduling...

We could analyze, over-analyze strengths & weaknesses of Wild and Blackhawks from now until next Friday, but second series have to do with starting on an even keel and staying focused inside of all the momentum changes that seem to fill each couple of shifts.

The hawks get the home ice and they were 2-1 there, and the loss was 2-1.

In Minnesota, i believe they were one and one, and there was a game that the wild shut the hawks out.

I don’t see much difference in the next series, because Nashville played with speed and so will the Wild.

Before the Wilds Double D gets canonized into the Lutheran World Federation, the International Lutheran Council, and the Confessional Evangelical Lutheran Conference, let’s remember he is being disciplined to play a style that works well for a big golfer but not on that is infallible.

Sure the wild young colts might breathe lots of life, but it is still their first second series ever, right?

Actually, I thought Stalberg was fairly effective in the series. But playing him in the last 10 minutes of a tied game? Lavy, what were you thinking?

You're assuming rational thought in the league office - I'm not sure we've seen much evidence of that.

Gramps should have his number retired. He wore and performed in that sweater with honor, courage, and outstanding play. Larms was at the very least one of 5 best 2-way players of his generation. He was one tough SOB who never took a night off.

and tell you what, i love Dennis Hull as a person, but to think of him as some rafters star, I would have to have seen many concrette efforst that turned games around.

1.5 seconds left in BB is slightly different from 5 minutes remaining in hockey in a tied game.

I will say Im surprised the Blues got run by the Wild. Blues looked they were going to be a force in the playoffs. That system Hitch runs is very physically demanding. When he had the Stars, they were regular season monsters, but then would struggle in the playoffs.. Well bring on the Wild then.
