take that saturation.

have it (frank) itself asexually and produce saturated little poopbabies.

their family reunion is pretty much what the market looks like.

Hey guys, your friend "znagle" got out of his group home again and found his way to a computer. I know he's an inbred Ohio mongoloid that probably spent his formative years chained up in some fine gentleman's basement eating dog food and having sex against his will but he's pretty annoying in our thread during a playoff game. Does anyone know the number of his caretaker so they can take him back to the home?

Have to laugh at that!

Chiefs - your down now, but next week you'll look back & laugh as well.

Great post!

In 8 years Jordan Staal is the only top 9 forward Shero drafted for the Penguins. That's impressively bad.
- jfkst1

Forwards left on board...

2006 Toews & Backstrom → staal (@ least they didn't pick kessel)
2006 Lucic [139] & Kulemin [99] → carl sneep [D]
2006 Clutterbuck [81] →brian strait [D]
2007 Max Pacioretty [144] → angelo espisito
2007 Wayne Simmonds [139] → kevin veillieux
2008 Cam Atkinson [59] → alexander perchurski [G]
2009 Ryan O’reilly [90] → simon despres [D]
2009 Mike Hoffman [30] → nick petersen & alex velischek [D]
2010 Kevin Hayes [17] & Brock Nelsen [34] & Tyler Tofoli [37]→ beau bennett
2011 Saad [52] & Jenner [25] → joe morrow [D]
2011 Kucherov [37] → harrington [D]
2012 Filip Forsberg [26]→ d. pouliot [D]

Not even counting goals [G] from Toews or Backstrom because of the significant cap issues that would have occurred. As far the other guys who were on the board, that's 1100+ career goals. Not a bad roster either. Outside of the top 5-10 picks of R1, the NHL draft is really a crap shoot. I'm sure (in HINDSIGHT) other teams have similar lists.

Its a shame the Isles are in our division. DP for one of their young forwards would be an ideal trade for both clubs.

We need young forwards, preferably with some size. Isles have them in spades with Lee, Okposo, Nelson, etc..

They need more meat on their backend. Even with Hamonic in there, their D still isn't good enough. W/o him, they're f'd.

Yeah, but when the GM in 8 years is only capable of drafting/developing one top 9 foward and it was the #2 overall pick (and I think most would argue wasn't even the BPA) that shows that he simply doesn't have any drafting ability. He was strong in drafting/developing dmen, but the problem with doing just that is that it creates a backlog of players and stifles their development. He might look pretty good at drafting goalies as well if Jarry and Murray work out. But being so incapable of drafting forwards (or any individual positions) cripples teams in the long-run.

RNH is a capable 2nd line center. That first round pick back will be 15 or later. That an absurdly pathetic return for Malkin everyone else would agree.

He's outmatched against most 1st line centers and all the data supports that. McDavid being there will benefit him greatly.

I don't know...I caught a decent amount of oilers games and RNH was their best and most consistent player all year long to me. He's datsyuk-esque.

He's not a 100 point center but he's a 1st line center...McDavid will likely force him into a 2C role sooner rather than later but that's because of how good McDavid is rather than how "outmatched" RNH is.

My opinion is hardly unique on this matter. I find it especially insightful that Tyler Dellow strongly argued that he wasn't a 1C and he was hired into the front office last year so I'm confident the organization internally likely has the same opinion. He's not nearly the player Datsyuk was in his prime and still isn't as good as a 36 year old Datsyuk now. Granted he is only 22 so he still could improve, but so far in his career, he is not a legit 1C.

Yes but you also think Girardi is a terrible defenseman so sorry but I don't view your opinion of other players too highly.

Still bad. I don't think Nuge is that great personally. You know what to offer. Is starts with your best player and builds from there.

Beau Bennett straight up for Leon Draisaitl?

And that is another opinion that is hardly novel, even among Rangers fans. Or at least the SBN Rags fans on BSB. Just some data comparison:

Girardi relative ES SF% is -4.07 and relative ES GF% is -6.38. That's not a good dman and both are the worst on the team out of the regular dmen. McDonagh, his most common playing partner, is -1.83 and +.68 respectively so it isn't just playing against tough competition/situations. He isn't effective in his role. Which was readily apparent to any non-Rags fan last SC finals as well where he was easily the worst regular dman on the ice.

It's just not worth arguing. If you can't see how good of a defenseman G is from this series alone then I just don't know what to tell you. I mean, this guy plays over 25 mins a night every single night against the top offensive players in the world for multiple years on a consistently top 5 defense in the league.
