Jack is probably pretty pissed at O'Connor for (frank)ing up the whole winning the finals thing.

Whether that's true or not, Murray hasn't spoken to Eichel at all to even know if that's how he felt.

Canucks are playing like they've never been in the playoffs before what a embarrassment
- gerbe75pts

This is how they played the last 25 games or so. This is why I wanted to put $50 on the Flames.

He will never play in the NHL. He is an undrafted senior in college who had a great year with arguably the best freshman to ever play.

IMO.

Lots of goalies are late bloomers
He was VERY good for them all season
Eichel made his linemates better, but the goalie?
Sure, better possession help take pressure off him, but I think He looked good besides a couple of big time goofs
Not saying he's our future franchise goalie, but I wouldn't mind him in Rochester for a couple years to see what he's got

U have to be pretty damn talented to play on the top line of Boston U
You're selling him a bit short IMO
I love signing College free agents. Costs u nothing, and even if 1 of 5 becomes a good role player for u in the future, then it's worth it

On another note, what teams are you guys rooting for in this sabre-less playoffs? I'm rooting for Anahiem. They're the only team I've ever been able to cheer for and really get into other than the Sabres
- chilliard77

I'm cheering for all the underdogs.
Besides the Chicago series, every upset makes our pick from NYi 1 spot better (assuming the Caps win the series)
The pick is currently 21st

What's up with Howard on the bench? Will he be the next rumored goalie to Buffalo, especially being a "local"?

They probably let Sharp go well before they let Saad go.

There was a lot of new talent there as well
Obv Eichel made a big difference, but they were deep with talent
They had like 12 freshmen on the roster I believe
They'll be pretty decent again next year

That'll be the issue we run into when trying to poach players from these teams with Cap issues.
They're much more likely to trade Vets, than guys that will fit into our rebuild.
Young guys that will get moved are likely viewed as depth guys, which we hve plenty of.
Maybe we get lucky and snag a "Ladd" from someone though
