zadarov and foligno

Yak's value isn't close to that offer.

Unfortunately he has very little value being a former top pick.

False as I don't read anything on here but a few bloggers and the Oilers guys were never one of them.

I made my opinions based off my own two eyes.

Lowe and Tambi shoulder most of the blame but IMO MacT isn't a good GM.

I think its no different than saying murray isn't a good gm because of what darcy regeir gave him.

way short sighted to ignore the realities of what he took over, the lowball offers he apparently gets from opposing gms seeing a desperate team and his inability to sign anyone of consequence. (secondary guys and even have to overpay for those)

imo, hes done well to keep the core intact and the best part is hes no longer forced to waiting on nurse and klefbom.
he just got a gift, now we'll see how good of a gm he is with some options available

I don't think gm's are nearly as quick to judge as joe poster.

yaks started to really show some flashes after nelson took over.
his potential is till absolutely there. but for a first overall, his value would be lower than whats expected at present.

but it was never really about that too much.

t was more that zadarov aint getting hall. or even eberle for that matter

I'm fully aware of what he took over.

I'm not a fan of the "Old Boys Club" or the baby blanket mentality. Bringing in former glory to make new glory. Again as I've said prior I've been a fan of the Oilers since 83/84ish. Matter of fact I was an Oiler fan before I was a Sabres fan. My aunt would let me stay up late to watch the Oilers on HNIC. IMO until management can show they know how to make the right move, I have little faith in them.
