He's no stranger to Buffalo. He's been to several Sabres games and trained here. He also trains with Gary Roberts with Reinhart and Hodgson. Fact is, he's more comfortable here

He wasn't drafted and made a name for himself playing US college hockey.

Yes he is Canadian but he made his way to the big show the same way Eichel will.

Fixed the page! Didn't really know the friendly width on it, my apologies. And St Louis is just for argument sake that he's Canadian and that Canadian bred talent is better than the American's as far as hockey goes.

But at least the US knows how to build teams

The issue is when making an argument pinning US vs Canadian, selecting a guy that made his way threw the US college ranks might not be the best way to go.
