I agree. I keep getting into discussions with people who tell me that Major Junior hockey is better than D1, but almost every time I ask that question they say the same thing.

I am excited to watch the next 10 years of the NHL, that's for sure.

What we really need to focus on is a coach. Watching alain vigneault fail with the Nuck and currently has no idea how to change his gameplan with all the talent he has against a depleted Pens, coaching is very important. Pens are another instance when coaching would have won them more cups say with a Babcock rather than Dan Bylsma. I'm actually quite nervous as to who we try to hire, as they will have just as much impact as a player will

Not sure, I never really understood where all the Babcock rumors started coming from, but I think that process needs to be well thought out by management and not give it to a guy who "has earned his shot" Not sure who is out there, but again that is why I am nervous

It's hard to say. D1 is probably more physical. The players are a bit older and more developed physically.

Think about it, Eichel was in his 1st year in D1, guys getting drafted out of the CHL leagues are usually done with 2 sometimes 3 of their 4 seasons of eligibility.

that is true but college hockey plays more to the NHL then CHL that's why it's easier for players to sign with teams and play right away in the NHL and have success

Ya Oilers definitely don't need draft picks especially because they suck at developing players. I'd think they'd probably want to trade for more established young Dman. Kinda like the Kane for Myers trade.
