Sabres then hold 1 and 2. Then trade 2 to Arizona for OEL and 3rd overall. Arizona gets Eichel as a franchise center the Sabres then draft Strome and Toronto gets Hannifn.

I feel bad for you guys. Not trolling or anything, I just got home from work and found out the (frank)ing oilers won the damn lottery. 4 times in 6 years picking 1st overall is a joke. Your situation would've been ideal for a talent like mcdavid. Adding him and you guys would be a year or 2 from being a playoff team. Got some solid young talent and the acquisition of evander kane with mcdavid being drafted would've been something to see. Eickel is gonna be great, but the oilers don't deserve mcdavid. They've had plenty of chances since 2010 to get it right and they still suck.

Congratulations. It only took four #1 overall picks, and then the NHL completely overhauling the the lottery odds for you to win McDavid. Can't wait for the Oilers to trade away their other prospects and watch Connor fade into obscurity like so many other Oilers picks.

Edmonton and Buffalo are great hockey towns. I am not sure the same can be said about New Jersey.
