Agreed, but with all of those 1st overalls (plus a 7th overall and 3rd overall after those firsts), they may actually figure it out (well, have McDavid figure it out for them)

For me it isn't so much getting Eichel, I wanted Buffalo to have that number 1 pick so they could choose who they wanted, it would have been the ours to choose to trade down to number 2, take Eichel and get something else.

How the NHL can think this is a good outcome, 1 team having 4 number 1 picks in 6 years and nothing to show for it shows how ridiculous this system is. I see Buffalo never getting a number draft pick ever again!

Don't get me wrong..dissapointed with the outcome, but he stayed out of the east. We get eichel. Kids gonna have a huge chip on his shoulder. theres plenty of upside to this situation. Congrats to the oilers, hope he sucks
