He's a grate player. Tremendously talented and just grates on my nerves.

Exhibit A: the total stunned disbelief on his face when his egregious 2 handed chop of Mark Stone got him 5 and a game. Like, OMG how could you possibly toss me out of the game for that?

I think the penalty was severe because of Stone's reaction. I'm not saying he flopped, but if he had just grabbed his wrist in discomfort, I think it would have been a minor.

It's pretty rare that a player gets thrown out of a playoff game for a slash unless it's to the head or a full baseball style swing.

He came right over the top with a two hander. If I'd been the ref, he'd be gone.

Edit: this is exactly the kind of crap that I hate about hockey. We have one set of rules for the regular season and then another for the playoffs. I want to see the best players in the game actually play, I don't want to see a cripple-fest where there is a steady attrition of the best talent due to continuous stream of cheap shots and dangerous play.

Nah. It's all about the picks. Black Hawks to the finals. It's clear from watching the playoffs the Flyers need an influx of talent.

Uh, the trade is already made...if Chicago loses the Flyers get a 4th rounder. If they advance, it bumps up. I could care less who wins the Cup, I want the Flyers to get a better pick.

Oilers are a poorly run franchise. I believe in our new GM. Out of the playoffs traded an asset that was retiring. Mind as well maximize the return.

LOL. How do you really feel. It may seem unimportant, but where the Hawks and Lightning finish matter. 22nd pick(not happening) and a late second is a much better start to a package than 28th and a 4th, as an Example.

Yeah, never seen anyone good drafted in the 2nd round...I mean besides PK Subban, Shea Weber, Patrice Bergeron, Duncan Keith, Ryan O'Reilly & Wayne Simmonds
