The funny thing about drafting high every year is most of the time the top rated draftee is a forward. Last year would have been an ideal year for them to draft first.

I also think that maybe their crazy fast ice makes things tough for defensemen to play there. That could be completely wrong but it's a theory.

My gut tells me if he's there the Flyers will take Crouse. They desperately need a LW, he's a big kid, with skill. He seems like he would fit the profile.

He will be a good player but the Flyers really need someone to drive the offense on line 2. Crouse is not that guy and there are guys like Rantanen, Barzal and Zacha who are those types. Crouse is just not the playmaker that these guys are.

Almost any trade that involves the Flyers moving multiple assets for 1 asset is a bad deal. They need to be the one dealing 1 asset for multiple assets

With Arizona at three there is an extremely good chance one of him or Provorov are available at 7. If not... then you're getting a hell of a forward.

Carolina needs a D man worse than we ever did since the Pronger injury. I'd put money on them taking one of Hanifin/Provorov.

Toronto could go D but idk, I think Carolina might be the only team going D before we pick.
