As long as the Flyers or Coyotes win the lottery, it's all good...any other outcome will send me into a rage of Biblical proportions

Well, the announcement is at 8. The process itself will be earlier, and in private.

I did read somewhere that the bottom 5 finishers were invited to send representatives to the proceedings. I'm fairly certain that 'gag order' paperwork will need to be signed to enter, though.

this private business is bullpoop. i don't like it. why's it gotta' be private? so (frank)stick can rig it and nobody can do anything about it, that's why.

Actually, I just want the Flyers to win it or stay at 7. I really don't want to drop past that spot.
- Jsaquella

how do they drop past 7? i'm not clear on how the process works.

I don't want (Monchichi) McClellan, his teams in San Jose were too soft and cuddly. The Flyers can do better. Offer mad $$$ to Babcock or Julien, or get Dineen.

Beyond the gaudy offensive stats, he is showing versatility (has switched from LD to RD as needed) and seems to constantly have the puck on his stick. Still has a lot of learning to do and to fill out his frame, but the upside is very high.

To do what he's done this year in his 19-year-old WHL season (second year post-draft) would have been one thing. To do it at age 18, is extremely impressive.

His rate of year-to-year skill improvement is tremendous. He'll be hard-pressed to take the same amount of jump from his current point within a year, but even more subtle improvements -- a few added pounds of muscle, cutting down a few unforced errors -- will help him get ready for the NHL.

Rules aside because we know its not allowed but do you think he would be better off in the AHL next year? I really wish they would amend that rule altho I do understand why its in place
