may I ask everyone to kindly shut the F up about this Perron/Stepan poop? Does anyone really care or do you just like to argue.
Anyway. Dumoulin and Chorney are the third pair tonight. Ehrhoff and Pouliot out.
Also no Adams!!! |

Perron vs Stepan is long over. We're onto Glass vs Adams. |

You keep bringing up that Glass makes double Adams. If you want to talk skewing a number to make a point, look no further than that statement. While it's accurate, it also makes it sound much worse than it really is. He's making 750k more than either of them I believe, while you try to make it sound like Glass is on a Clarkson-like contract. - rangerdanger94
Its actually not a skewed number. Its a salary, its per year, its the same exact time length for everyone. You gave us his season total of goals and then took multiple game stretches of players on cold streaks to make him look solid.
And no, never made it sound like a Clarkson contract, that is you grasping at straws. |

Glass makes twice as much money as Adams. |

I'm guessing since they had 13 forwards dressed in the last few games, and now that the brought up more defensemen, he was the odd man out. |

Glass is overpaid, no way of arguing that. We are at the redemption phase of his Ranger career right now, he went from being terrible on the ice and being overpaid, to now not terrible anymore, but simply overpaid. His salary has been managable because we won the President's trophy while dealing with it. Moving forward, if there is an area that we can still improve on, its getting dollar for dollar return on his contract and it could be served better allocated elsewhere. We can probably pay someone $1M or less to occupy his roster spot. |

I never compared glass to those players stats. I only listed those stats to demonstrate how useless half your team has been.
And yes, the statement "he makes double" is intended to make it sound worse than it really is. You can say he make double, I prefer to say he makes 700k more. In reality, it has virtually zero effect on our cap structure and we actually like Glass so it's a moot point. |

so penguins, i know all of you all read HB, please, if not win this for yourselves, win it for me, the poor dude that has heard BS for a year now.

This is like a poorly played game of ping pong...back and forth...back and forth - climbdenali12
Maybe you could suggest to your fellow New Yorkers that they stop coming here and picking these silly "who's better? and so and so sucks!" fights.
I haven't been on your board all year, but if it continues, I may be forced to drop by and say something like "King Henrik can't win the big one!!!" whether I believe that statement or not.
None of us wants that. |

Oh now Glass at age 31 magically became a good player?

I'm not wild about the bottom pair either. At least they'll finally have 6. I think playing with 5 D has been the biggest issue dragging them down the past 3 weeks. |

Fleury needs to stand on his head and have an epic performance with that kind of D out there against Nash, Kreider, Brassard, Zuccarello, Stepan, Hayes, St. Louis. |

How does your response come out of what I said??? I mean seriously, how? I'm agreeing that Glass is overpaid and we need to get rid of him at his cap hit to improve the team next year... |

I wouldn't, Harrington really flopped here in his time up. Also, Dumo and Chorney were paired in the AHL, so that makes a LOT more sense than going Harrington with either. |
