I hope you're right. Would you be happy if he was a 50pt season guy down the road? Or do you expect more?
- Smittyx36

U think the #2 pick in the draft doesn't have a higher upside than 50pts?!

And were u really watching the Calgary game instead of the amazing Nashville vs Chicago thriller? The only thing I saw were the highlites on the postgame show.

Was back and forth all night. Blackhawks are my second team I root for so I was more focused on that. I just saw in the twitter world that Sammy was having a good game. And yes I do think 50 is around his ballpark. Point arent as easy to come by the past couple years. So unless they fix scoring I think that's a decent range for him. It was a #2 in a pretty weak draft

I don't think Marchand is a type of player that GMTM likes!
Too small.

- Sabresfan88

He likes Ennis...
Marchand plays "bigger" than he is too
Maybe you're right, but I think he'd fit in ok
Maybe Lucic is a guy he'd target?

Bennett looked good last night... we might regret picking reihnhart if he doesn't get stronger and fills out more

Way to over react to a perfectly legitimate statement.

For those as confused as me, Brandon Spikes said he is confused by the justice system in this country (following the Aaron Hernandez verdict). As am I, for a lot of reasons.

But wow, lost all respect hope the Bills never sign him?

how the hell can you be confused with the verdict yesterday the dudes a psychopath really this is why I hate Twitter for athletes it makes me hate them

This was on my yahoo home page.

http://sports.yahoo.com/b...res-hockey-145050744.html

So many things wrong with this article. Actually kinda pissed me off reading it, as this person is clueless when it comes to professional sports.

I'd love to know which one of you is Harry Tee?!?!?!

I frequent a very popular Sabres message board. What used to be a fountain of knowledge for me and a way to connect with longtime Sabres fans is now an insufferable cesspool of cultists marching to that single, solitary drumbeat. Openly rooting for the team to lose, berating anyone who expresses even the slightest morsel of happiness at a win, all the while clamoring for growth from the team. What exactly do you think will grow on a team that loses on purpose? How exactly do you plan on dispelling years and decades of losing Buffalo sports culture by losing on purpose? How exactly do you cultivate players like Zemgus Girgensons, Rasmus Ristolainen, Nikita Zadorov and others by doing this? Players across the league who might have decided to sign in Buffalo may have taken fan passion into account along with the loads of cash we'd throw at them, but why would anyone want to play for such ingrates who would start rooting for the other team at the drop of a hat?

Comical that he claims to be a fan since 2008, and is already "giving up" on the team What a joke!

Ps - It's stuff like this that really gives the city (and teams) a bad name/image.

- DontBeThatGuy

Way to sell low, Harry Tee.

Also, Chicago and Pittsburgh say hi.

Also, Talladega Nights was far from Will Ferrel's best movie, but it was also far from crap.

I don't think it's fair to say it's a "weak" draft... Compared to this year obviously, but this year is exceptional
The only guy picked ahead of him is already a stud
I'm not saying Reinhart is a ppg guy NEXT year, but there's no way he tops out at 50pts
I'd be shocked

They won't beat the ducks and I think that pick is good as gone for ROR

I would like to keep the pick but I don't think we will

IMO there is more truth to a Kessel/ROR deal.

A deal like that makes more sense for both teams.

Ya, it's widely known the Leafs want ROR
Also, Florida is supposedly big on Kessel

I picked the Ducks, but I do think it will be a good series
The Jets have a chance IMO if they get good goaltending

Regardless,
The more upsets the better the pick
Right now it's at 21, can move as high as 15. Even if we are gonna trade it, the better the pick is, the more value it has.

Big point, also easier to step into a playoff lineup than into the bottom six of the worst scoring team in the last 20 years
