Daniel Paille?

Ya right. Only one on Boston I'm interested in is Malcolm Subban.

Apparently I am in the minority, but I didn't think the Subban slash was that bad. No reason it should have been a 5 and game.

Stone should have gotten an embellishment penalty.

- ImThatGuy

one angle it looked like a minor penalty

the other angle was not pretty

The Boston fans tend to think any team taking on the Savard contract should understand it is a gift from the Bruins and they shouldn't have to send anything else to the team taking it on.

Good luck with that line of thinking.

PK sure does a lot of dumb things on the ice.

Why two hand baseball chop a guy? Makes little sense.

The problem is the officials let SO much of that go that these clowns think they are going to always get away with it and then whine when they actually get called.

Seeing guys swing their sticks without concern is not why anybody watches the NHL. If it is, try the American Gladiators instead.

I believe Stone came back and went out again due to that last night and had an MRI after the game, but hey, he embellished, the wimp.

Yea, Hey we need to get out of cap hell. There is a guy that will never play for you and carries a 4+MM cap hit. If we dont get rid of him we are F*%$^.

This is our gift to you.

Looking at the goalies in the playoffs this year. It is now the least of my worries.

Edzo, Melrose and Panger are clueless !

Edit: actually Crawford is not a bad goalie but to say "hands down he's one of the top 3" is a real stretch.

Listening to GR on playback, man i am concerned about expectations next year.

If the Sabres are 40 points better, they are still not a playoff team. People already saying "Fighting for a playoff spot."

way to early

have this conversation in late july once we have a handle on who is behind the bench and what the team is going to look like

if they add a top line winger, and 2 upper end d men a playoff conversation may be justified, right now any playoff talk makes us on par with leaf fans IMO

Next year doesn't matter about team standings. The only thing that matters is the performance of the players on the ice.

Nobody should expect playoffs next year. Nobody.

I say we miss playoffs by 7 points next year...but we have three 20 goal scorers back on the team.
Seeing the progress made towards the end of the year (when we were suppose to be losing) is what will be the key to the early months of the season. Does the team come out and say, "Let's get this going early and often." I bet they do and they will have an experienced coach to lead them in that direction.

Like we have all said before, the only way to go from here is up. Buffalo, is on the way up and will be there within the next 2-3 years and stick there for 8+ years. Lets enjoy this!

I still cant see it. Even adding say ROR, and Oduya. The teams Centers are still too young. Two rookie centers and a 3rd year guy in Girgensons.

I have never seen a team go from "Worst to first" in the NHL. I expect a gradual increase like Florida. 20 points better per year.

That would put this team around 90 points. That's a 40 point swing or 20 additional wins. Everyone needs to remember Crosbys first year. That team still finished last place.

Is it possible? I guess, but i dont expect anything near that.

if special teams are credible, a competent coach, goaltending is not an issue a top 6 winger and 2 top 4 d men not on the decline are added

Some people just can't see past their love or friendship and see the ugly truth behind it.

He's got a micro fracture in his wrist.

But that's not even the point, you have to punish the act not what happened as a result. There's really no good reason why he should be swinging his stick like that on that play.
