FWIW:

•David Pollak of the San Jose Mercury News: Signs are pointing to the San Jose Sharks and head coach Todd McLellan mutually parting ways as early as today. McLellan has one year left on his contract. If McLellan hits the open market, there will be no shortage of teams interested. If Mike Babcock leave the Red Wings, source saying that his replacement would be either McLellan or Jeff Bashill. The Maple Leafs already have an opening.

McLellan and Babcock and maybe Julian if fired would be my favorites for NHL coaches.

Bashill and Richardson would be my AHL coaches to take a look at.

Who leads that offsense? St Louis' case isn't far from Boston's case. Fill needs, then expect to get somewhere. At least against the Wild they stand a chance by having a favourable match up.
- SuperSchennBros

I think the Wild are a tough matchup.

Calgary is really the team id want to play in the west. IMHO

I hope they actually hire Milbury.. In his infinite wisdom regarding all things goaltending, He'll sign Bryz and the clown show will be on..
- Hextall271

He'd probably trade Bergeron for a 2017 4th round pick.. and Rask for a bag of stale popcorn found under a seat in section 319...

A shoe better come with that popcorn bag, he always needs an extra shoe for when the poop goes down.

Gaudreau will win the Conn Smythe despite his team losing in the WCF.

Those 2 things usually go hand-in-hand.
- jmatchett383

Huh? They won the Cup in 2011, and lost in the SCF to the Blackhawks in 2013.

Who has a better body of work as a GM, Chiarelli or Holmgren?

And then that scumbag tries to stand up and preach about concussions going on... But hey, I guess beating people in the stands with a shoe is perfectly acceptable.

Sorry.. I just can never take that guy seriously.

Probably Chiarelli, without analyzing every deal ever made.

But you have make the Stanley Cup Finals to win a Stanley Cup, no?

He won the scoring race due to 2 poop goals versus the Flyers. I mean, it's Steve Mason he scored on, and he's terrible. Total gifts.

Well, its not like Milbury led the charge into the stands that night. He was just one of many Broons. Personally, of all the things Milbury has said and done.. following Peter McNab into the stands and beating the snot out of some clown with his shoe is the thing I find least offensive.

Leads NHL in takeaways too.

That goal where he stripped Jake and beat Mason five hole was pretty impressive

If the flyers could only figure out how to skip the SCF's, we'd have multiple cups since Bullies' days.

He's a really good player. Great find by the Sens. Hoffman and Stone both had great rookie years for them

So Berube is going to be fired at 2 P.M. The offseason has begun in earnest. First move a no brainer, a lot of heavy lifting still to be done.

I believe they were both pretty late round draft picks.

stone was 6th round

Hoffman was 5th

That's ridiculous. Finding two top line wingers that late is huge
