•David Pollak of the San Jose Mercury News: Signs are pointing to the San Jose Sharks and head coach Todd McLellan mutually parting ways as early as today. McLellan has one year left on his contract. If McLellan hits the open market, there will be no shortage of teams interested. If Mike Babcock leave the Red Wings, source saying that his replacement would be either McLellan or Jeff Bashill. The Maple Leafs already have an opening.

McLellan and Babcock and maybe Julian if fired would be my favorites for NHL coaches.


Bashill and Richardson would be my AHL coaches to take a look at.

He's a really good player. Great find by the Sens. Hoffman and Stone both had great rookie years for them

So Berube is going to be fired at 2 P.M. The offseason has begun in earnest. First move a no brainer, a lot of heavy lifting still to be done.
