hahahaha yeah "poor" vinny. That washed up son of a female dog. Is he still collecting money from when he got bought out in tampa? - benjichronic
Haha! Exactly - when your factored in his TB buyout $, I think he was one of the highest paid players in the NHL last yr. Weber might be high on that list too. Its clear Homer liked to spread the wealth.

I know this is just my opinion, but I feel like some of that leadership this team was apparently missing could have been provided, at least in a little way, by Lecavalier, if Berube hadn't cut him off at the knees.
I know VLC didn't play well, but I also feel like he was buried and disrespected. Its hard to be a voice in the room when you feel like you aren't contributing in a positive way on the ice. Even worse when you are being scratched.

I believe so, but he handed out some of those contracts that put them in a tough spot moving forward - ob18
The seguin trade really didn't help either.
Still, I think he deserved the opportunity to rework the roster. He did pretty well considering he always had the Savard contract hanging over their heads

Probably did deserve that shot but they felt it was better to go in another direction.

It's gonna be hard for Hitch in St Louis to stay if they flame out in the first round again. - Feanor
Who leads that offsense? St Louis' case isn't far from Boston's case. Fill needs, then expect to get somewhere. At least against the Wild they stand a chance by having a favourable match up.
•David Pollak of the San Jose Mercury News: Signs are pointing to the San Jose Sharks and head coach Todd McLellan mutually parting ways as early as today. McLellan has one year left on his contract. If McLellan hits the open market, there will be no shortage of teams interested. If Mike Babcock leave the Red Wings, source saying that his replacement would be either McLellan or Jeff Bashill. The Maple Leafs already have an opening.
McLellan and Babcock and maybe Julian if fired would be my favorites for NHL coaches.
Bashill and Richardson would be my AHL coaches to take a look at.
