Is someone suggesting Jeff Reese was NOT fired this season?

I mean honestly, why else would a goalie coach leave three quarters into a season coaching a goalie who has a top five save percentage?

Rimouski wins up 3 - 1 in their series

Val-d'Or tied 3 - 3 and headed to double OT

Calgary tied 1 - 1 and headed to the 3rd

ive hated him since i first saw him. im sure hell pot a few against the pens, and itll make it worse.

but that analysis was formed the moment i saw what he looked like. granted, not the most rational reasoning, but (frank) him. his looks and playing on the rags is enough for me.

I'm not trying to offend anyone, I'm not trying to be a jerk just to be a jerk (although I know I'm being overly aggressive) but I don't see how we can keep Berube around. From his personnel decisions, his criticism of some of the players, he just sounds like a total meat head to me. To watch Ottawa sneak past us and get into the playoffs on our home ice, I've seen Coaches get fired for less. In this case, Berube is comparing Couturier to Bergeron. "Be careful! He's 22 years old".

Keeping Berube around seems like more a favor to Berube then improving the organization.

Berube's public comments about his players is reason enough to fire him. What a Richard.

Great game. Let's go Hawks.

if that is the case that in itself is also absurd! so we're going to demoralize the team to make one guy retire/waive nmc? you can tell vinny regardless what happens with berube you're still in the doghouse here pal.

It was a stupid penalty, but I'm not sure he should have been thrown out for that

Yeah... can't stand that guy. And it wasn't so much the slash that annoyed me, as him acting like the little baby after he got called for it. Jumping around crying like a spoiled little brat.

I can't stand that guy.. Not only do I find him overrated (yeah, I know, many will disagree with me and that's fine.. they can have him), but he's a scumbag and a baby.

*Difference of opinion
-On where Reese's authority began and stopped
-On how Steve is doing in net
-Reese stood up to Hextall when he tried to enforce "old school" goalie-ing on Steve
-Management felt Steve should not have called out the team and Reese told them he felt otherwise
-Management felt that since Steve had a bad W/L ratio that he sucks, and Reese stood up for him
-Management didn't like the color of Reese's shoes
-Reese told management that he didn't like Berube's handling of Mason
-Reese told management Mason wasn't healthy, and he shouldn't play... management tells him to suck off and says he can play
*Clashing methods on how Steve should be performing
*Overstepping boundaries

.....

The possibilities are endless...

Kind of missed the point. The question was rhetorical to refute the poster basically saying that he was fired. I don't believe he was fired.

The Flyers missed the playoffs in two of the past three seasons, but we can't blame the old GM, new GM or coach, and if we are critical of them at all, apparently, we are ignoring the good they did.

We can blame the players, but not the guys who acquired or coached them. Good to know

I'm just glad that, if you're a former Norris winner, you are allowed to outright tackle a guy on a partial breakaway in OT of a playoff game.
