I agree. I think the long term ramifications of another year of Berube could be vastly underestimated. As much as I think Vinny is toast, I'd rather have him back next year than Berube. - JFlyers00
Me too, and I think one of the first things I do if I am a new coach is take Vinny out to dinner, tell him I want him to be a veteran leader on this team. Be part of the leadership group. I will help you by trying to put you in a position to succeed. But what I need from you is to understand that if you don't produce, you need to change your game. You aren't a 30 goal guy anymore, but nor are you a 4th line winger. I want you to play center, even if it is the 4th line, but I will give you PP time if you earn it. I wont embarrass you, but don't you embarrass me either.
I wonder if he'll get as angry with Frank as Berube does - PhillySportsGuy
That is one thing that will be good comedy to watch next season, if they do bring Berube back.
Frank has been beating "Fire Berube" drum pretty hard. I don't remember a good GM/writer incident here in Philly since Clarke called Panotch an bumhole.

I'd like Brayden Schenn to score more of those points when the games actually count for something, myself. - johndewar
Yeah, it would be cool if the NHL just stopped keeping score when a team is eliminated from the playoffs since those games don't mean anything to anybody.

I know everybody's patience is wearing thin, but let's keep it in perspective... I'll take painful, incremental growth over what happened to Cody Hodgson this past year.

Hexy already hates Frank for his anonymous Jeff Reese article too

Well, I guess they mattered if you play Fantasy hockey or something.
But the reality is, Brayden Schenn compiled a bunch of points when the Flyers were well out of playoff contention. Mazel tov to him.
Let's see him do it when it actually matters and can have a meaningful impact on the success of the team.
