I just find it funny, Berube's hamstringing guys and then blaming them for not playing through it. This is exactly my issue with him as a head coach. Seems like a good assistant, but the people skills...oi

Obviously, Hextall's never given a guy the shiv, so I certainly don't know how he does it, what the vibe is

But for whatever reason, I just am unsure that Chief's getting the hook

I've been hedging my bets today because I just don't know that it's gonna happen -- Snider hasn't necessarily been heard from, but for whatever reason, I just don't feel the vibe that Chief's getting the shiv

Has Couturier said anything publicly about making excuses or blaming his role usage for his production? I haven't seen it. And if it was said in meetings and Berube went public with it, he is an even bigger wienerhead than I thought.

An abundance of defensemen within our system. We don't have a number one stud but we also have young players with high upside. With having already 8 defenseman, I'm assuming things become more tricky. Also when I look at Giroux, Couturier, Laughton and Bellemare, I see a lot to be desired. How much better is Bellemare then Laughton should both see a full season?

Those defenseman in some cases are years away from playing for the Flyers. You can always trade a veteran player, is you need to make room for another player.

See, my thing about that is this: If Hextall knifes the coach because of what the players say in exit interviews, then take that freaking sign down.

Hextall has to decide, IMO, these things:

1. Do you agree with how he uses Couturier?

2. Do you agree with how he scratches players?

3. Who the (frank) is getting fired for the PK, if anyone?

4. Did they play hard enough, and are you sure it's not the players' character for why they start slowly?

5. Do I truly feel this was a playoff team -- which he has said -- or am I just blowing smoke for the media?

I personally feel the system is one you can win with, and the PP is just fine. So, I don't know -- it's gonna be interesting what Hextall does

Eight defenseman is a lot. Sure there are injuries along the way but still. Eight is a lot. Nobody is gonna hand us a number 1 stud but we're not exactly making room for one.
