I just disagree with Chara the poop. HE WAS NEVER FAST!!!! I think he'll proving people wrong next year.
Eriksson had a good season too.
Seguin, Schmeguin
The rest I agree with.

Honestly,

Maybe this is what an entitled bunch needed, to miss the playoffs.

Now that we will see Paille, Soupy and Bart walk that a good start. I think Claude deserves another year 100% as he showed a bit more trust in guys like Spoons and Pastrnak, can't boot him right now, who are we gonna get? Dan Frickin Bylsma? No thanks.

I think Chia might be gone and Neely might just take over the reigns for it all. Dunno if it's good or bad, but I don't see Neely giving bit part players 2.5-3.5M a year. he will just spit in their burger and tell them they are going to accept the 3 year contract at 1M per year and like it.

Seguin was scratched for the last Dallas game for being late to practice.... irony?

Claude's gone if Chiarelli is. I imagine a new GM wants his coach. The better question is who is out there for GMs.

Shero...OK. Never had the balls to move Malkin which IMO they should so they can build a legit bottom 6.

Burke. Toronto aside has a good track record. My personal favorite to replace PC

Gillis.

Possible coaches:

Bylsma. GTFO with this guy. Predictable stretch passes and never EVER plays match ups.

Tortorella. Ra. Ra bullpoop.

Babcock. Nope. Never going to happen.

Boucher. Intriguing but this team is bad enough without having to transition to a 1-3-1 system.

Missed the boat on Laviollet.

I think the best option from within. Bring up the coach from Providence. Similar style, wouldn't be a violent change.

Only he Burke is he is the guy above Trevelling in CGY, he's not moving an inch.

If PC leaves I see Cam assuming all hockey roles and doing it all.

I'd say Claude stays and if there is a new GM they decide if they want CJ or not. I don't think bringing up Cassidy to coach this team is an improvement at all and the coached available re poop in comparison.

Only "intriguing name" would be McLean that was fired from OTT, he seems decent, but again, improvement over Julien? Im not so sure

I agree 100% Claude stays - hopefully, we don't need that moustache, and as good as ottawa was after mclean left, that pretty much showed me we don't need him.

Also, they'd have no trouble getting rid of chara, any team out there would take him at $7 & $4 cap hit over 2 years, I don't think they're dumb enough to make a move like that. Once he gets a summer's rest he'll be fine. Seidenberg, goodbye, bart, campbell, paille, soderberg (empty pistol after xmas) & probably Lucic if there's decent trade return. Plus, they really gotta figure out what is needed for a backup goalie, they wore tuukka out. looking forward to the 2015/16 shakeup.

I just heard Chara was playing with a completely torn PCL since the Tavares hit. That would explain a lot.

Should of had surgery when it originally happened.

When he comes back next year the skeletons in the closet are as follows......
1) He looked bad against the Hawks in the Cup finals,
2) He looked bad against the Habs last post season,
3) We have had questions with his hip every year we hit the playoffs,
4) He is going to be coming back from major knee surgery,
5) He is a giant of a man that is going to be 39 next year (big men break down faster.)

Odds.......from a simple observation of the above facts, are he is unlikely to be a healthy elite D-man next year. Even if he is a major health freak, which may have hurt him more as he has aged with the miles on his body.

Or......stop acting like he is the bionic man and realize we need to add another top pairing D-man......

After Spooner, Connolly and Hamilton sign as RFA we will ONLY have around $3 mil to sign players after Soderberg, Campbell, Paille, Bart, Svedberg, and Mcquaid leave........

Chara's PCL is permanently torn. Article I read said he should recover. If they didn't shut him down for the season to try to salvage the last couple years of his career... this just keeps getting better and better.

Soup and Paille. Kelly needs to be gone. Love Kelly but we need the cap space. Read at the deadline that the Coyotes might be interested in players with term simply because they need to fill out their roster and have a difficult time attracting fa's.

They don't want Milan Lucic fighting. His wrist is another significant injury away from being completely mangled. It's a pretty big problem from what I've been told.
