Truthfully sid owns karlsson...always has. He has danced that so called norris winner many times. Never liked how the norris seems to represent offensive stats.

The Norris is for the "defense player who demonstrates throughout the season the greatest all-round ability in the position." It seems like they want an offensive dman by definition.

Honestly, it's the same team that played against the Flyers.....with a little puck luck this time.

Love Cole. What a F'n steal for Bortz.

Exactly why we need the orr award for leading scorer from the back end. And bring the norris some credibility again. There was a time when the leading scorers...77 for example...would be head and shoulders better than the rest. But lately in the team defensive nhl we need to see an award for extremely amazing defensive d men.

I would like to keep 71 and if possible do this:

Perron-Sid-PH
Frolik-71-Kap
Kuni-UFA-Bergenheim
Spaling-Sund-Winnik

I cant see being savvy ebnough to dump Spaling and Sutter in teh same year.

Maybe get Berglund from STL for Sutter and Harrington?

I'm a big fan of Frolik's. Actually, I would like this lineup.

Said it a few games ago, I have become a big Ian Cole fan. He is a lot better than I thought he was.

Bennett going to be big part of this team if we going anywhere in the playoffs. Perron deserved a penalty.

First goal in 31 games. It was an open net too boot. Let's not get too carried away. Cole made the play.

I worry about Hoff in the play-offs, if we hold on. Not play so much, but remaining healthy.

I agree..but no need to rush him. Limit DPs time...put him in offensive situations....keep scuds to pk...martin tanger are solid. Cole and rev are solid. We can even dress all seven most games. I mean we have to spot CA lap and spaling in sparingly...so the extra d man is ok...id even play with a lil tanger on wing the odd shift.

DP has been making better decisions with the puck in this game so far. Just getting it out when that is what is available. Needs to be smart and I hope he keeps it up.

I am... Not because of the goal either. Just think he has a ton of skill and not much confidence. You need guys like Beau to pan out when you up against the cap. Thought he was good In Philly too.

Its coming for him. Baptism by fire. In an ideal world he would have had this whole year to season inthe ahl. The positive thing is that he seems the type to not allow hos time up here to destroy his career. Not all.kids have that maturity

Not at all, but since the league rarely enforces rules consistently, players have no idea what is and is not going to be enforced.

The one thing I like about this Ottawa team though is their young players. They are productive. I envy having that. Hoffman, Stone, Chiasson ...

Lovejoy needs to work on his breakaways.
