Eh, he is at least sentimental, patriotic and knows his role, we know his role and hes not on national US TV spouting his act.....plus he is old.

Milbury is on national US TV and catering to the Walmart crowd tuning into a hockey game when Honeybooboo isnt on or whatever that garbage is.

- Steelmanpa

I really can't say I agree. Milbury is a tool, but Cherry caters to the exact demographic you just described, except Canadian. I don't care if he's old, Milbury is 62 himself.

I'm not happy he's a Flyer at all. I watched this season like anyone else, he wasn't good. His best season was last season.

You watched this season, but when this season's stats don't support your opinion you suggest we ignore this season and look at other seasons.

At least Utley hasn't had to put much wear and tear on the knees
- Jsaquella

Love Chase, but unfortunately his best days are long gone. He struck out on a change up earlier in the game, it was the worst swing I've ever seen him take.

I guess if you look on the bright side, if you minus the 4 solo homers, Hamels was pitching a one hit shutout.

I get the feeling, this is a 100 loss team.

The roast pork at John's is so good, I've never tried anything else. I will get one to go next time, and also try Steaks on South. Thanks for the recommendation.
- PLindbergh31

I went their for the cheesesteaks on a buddy's recommendation. My wife got the pork and I was jealous. Now it's flip a coin, unless I really want one or the other. I found Steaks on South after an event at the TLA. We walked up South to go to Jim's and the line was longer than John Holmes' schlong.

So we walked up a few blocks, because there's a brick oven Pizza place we had before that was pretty good and we saw the steak joint.

Dinics are even better. Also try Johnny's Hots on Delaware ace.

It's a good idea, especially since blocking a lot of shots is very likely to lead to injuries.
- Feanor

And for those willing to block shots have to make a judgement call. Do it or not do it. When is it best to block or let it get by.

Despite it being park of their name, I've actually never even tried their roast pork -- always think "next time I will" -- but their cheesesteaks are really good.

To an extent, yeah

I just think that it's going to be similar, unless they add a piece. There's several solid depth guys who would be in the top 6 of most, if not all teams. But they are asked to do too much.

- Jsaquella

Are you referring to depth guys on the flyers or free agency or what?

The Flyers. I think that MacDonald, Schenn, Grossmann, Schultz can all be in the top six of a good defense, but when you have them all and ask them to play the role of a 2nd defenseman, you got troubles.

Haha! I hear you. I'm a strange bird, I don't get any onions, or peppers on the steaks. I think they overpower the steak. I also don't put ketchup on cheesesteaks either. Just plain steak, and cheese. Very odd.

DiNic's pork sandwich is the best sandwich in philly.

Yes, even better than Pat's/Geno's/Jim's

You were just proven wrong by the blogger himself. Of course it makes sense to lookover the body of work of most players

If the Flyers are looking for another forward in his 20's from the Euro leagues to follow in the footsteps of Raffl and PEB here's a candidate: Derek Ryan. He's American, but was MVP of the Swedish league this season.

It'd be cool to lure Artemy Panarin out of the KHL. One of the top scorers last year at age 23. He'd definitely be a top 6 50-60 point guy in this league next year.

edit: and a left winger, too

they're both (frank)ing morons. Can't pick between which one I hate more.

There was a game a few years ago where they were on at the same time. They really started getting pretty pissy with each other. It was cringe inducing.

I will usually get American cheese, but maybe 1/4th of the time I go with wiz. About half the time I get fried onions, but nothing else. I make a puddle of ketchup and dip every third bite or so, rarely put ketchup on the steak.

The roast pork, I just get cheese, and nothing else. Don;t need it

You could put horsepoop on a roll and it's better than Pat's and Geno's.

They exist for tourists, local flavor shots during nationally televised sports events and for 3 am, Jesus I'm really drunk and need grease in my belly feedings.

It is known.

John's steaks are great, not crazy about their pork sammich though. Dinic's > Frusco's > Nick's > John's as far as roast pork goes.
