Gotta say, Citizen's Bank is one of the nicer venues in the league. If you go to a night game the sun sets right over the skyline. Sit up on the terrace deck behind home and it is BEAUTIFUL

oh yeah. i absolutely love citizens bank. i dont have a ton of venues to compare it to, but man it still just has charm to me. the brick. the openness. the walkability. the ability to feel close to the action at virtually any part of the concourse. the views of the city.

like ive said on here a bunch. the ability to hopefully snipe some cheap tickets on stubhub and spend some summer nights there will hopefully be a benefit of the utter suckage.

Absolutely. There's nothing to be excited about right now. Nothing at all.

Mookie is a (frank)ing hilarious name. Sounds like he should be playing in 1896 with goofy baggy pants

seriously.

but he wreaks of andrew mccutcheon.

the phils just have nothing. always a treat to see chase. he'll always be an all timer. howard of all people looked pretty phenomenal, considering the overall poop day. but other than that, the lineup is an absolute joke.

giles is someone i have hope for, and can actually get excited about. but man, how sad is it when a setup man is really the only forward looking potential?

We're in this mess because you didn't bring the switch avatar enough this season. How were they supposed to know when they needed to play more harder?

When we get new phones (soon), I will make it a point to visit HB more often. It's so much easier to use Twitter than try to navigate here via mobile.

This site really needs a mobile version -- and a sarcasm smiley.

Maybe I'm crazy to believe this but between Giroux to Couturier to Laughton, I'm seeing a huge drop off. I'm not seeing this dislike for Brayden Schenn. I'm seeing a player being miss used. It wasn't until Schenn was placed with Couturier and Read until I felt he was placed exactly where he needs to be and it got him the second star of the week last week. With Giroux and Voracek he's a pedestrian. With Couturier and Read he's playing with guys on his level.

Schenn played with Couturier and Read earlier in the season also, and it didn't work out at that time. It's not about being used right, it's about Schenn coming to play.

I beat (totally destroyed actually) Milbury's son in fantasy hockey a few seasons back. That was particularly satisfying. Seems the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
