This stretch run is so freekin' stressful!! Hope that we have this sewn up by next Friday night...Really want to root for my Sabres on Saturday, it's been a long time!!! I have had season tickets for 10 years, and I think I have the right to hope the Sabres land a franchise player as opposed to our typical heroic run to 9th in the east. 4 more damn games...can't wait until it's over!!!

All 29 of the other owners would not only agree to allow McDavid to go #1 to Arizona but they would also agree to take such collusion to their graves. For the good of one franchise. Yep. Okay.

The sabres are playing the best hockey i have seen in over two years. The guys are hungry and are playing with extra motivation because of the fans who rooted against them "I was one of them". Its pathetic that it took that for them to play like this but half of them wont be here next year and the other half are young and just wanna win.

That would probably be the best solution--which is why I'm convinced it won't happen that way. I could see Buffalo being "stuck" with Eichel - but some longshot team is going to get McDavid. And the Oilers would probably draft Strome or something because they never draft Americans or defensemen and Hanifin is both.

Imagine we actually win the lottery and get McDavid. I'd be shocked! It would take away the Buffalo feeling we all seem to get with our sports teams. And to be honest I have enjoyed the past two years more than I have enjoyed the heroic 9th place runs we have gone on in the past. I know a lot of fans are miserable about all of this but I have been the opposite. It was a relief to see the Sabres decide to rebuild the way they did.

I mean how can it not be true? look at how they all are playing. Its a night and day difference between how we played majority of the season. We have outshout the past 3 and i think possibly 4 teams. We haven't been dominated in a while.
