There is an incredible backlog of stuff to get to. Brett Lindros 9th overall. Wade Redden 2nd overall. Eric Brewer 5th overall. My personal favorite is Mike Rupp 9th overall.

You don't even need to go that far back. Josh Bailey 9th overall.

Get your facts out of here, people want to mindless bash Scuds.

Only player not earning his paycheck this game is Perron. Wouldn't mind trading him for a first right now.

The Pens are winning this game. They just need to keep playing the way they have been the first 2 periods. Love the traffic in front. Don't love the wide shots on odd man breaks. Geno and Spalding both.

Go Pens

Right, because Shero definitely got his job based on his GM abilities and not his father. Most NHL GMs, like many other professionals, are getting their jobs based on who they know. Do you really think Shero or Rutherford are any better than random at their personnel management decisions?

They know more than me...and you and prob just about any poster on this site. Period fact end of statement. Watching games all your life doesnt mean you can manage your way out of a wet paper bag..nevermind an nhl team.

No im tired of seein idiot fans say the same poop here every game... if u had hockey sense ud be the gm of the team. We cant change the players...try to enjoy the game. Stop whining about every lil thing.

You can stop reading if your going to get this upset about it. This team has flaws and it is O.K. to point them out and discuss them. Scuds has to play a role he should not be put in. No need for you to go off the deep end over it.

Seemed like he was split from Crosby for a while. Back on his wing, I've gotta think it's gonna come back.

Yeah Mike Milbury picked some winners. Not everyone could pick them like the Rangers. I mean look at Dylan Mcilrath(10th overall) guy looks like a star in the making and the Pens. Wow. I mean Bennett is really rounding into form. Definite star in the making. DeHaan what a waste of a pick on a top four defenseman. Who has any use for players like that? Martin, hamonic, nielsen, nelson, strome, cizikas, lee. Those islanders are terrible at drafting.

Sadly I have stopped readin a lot this year. I cant handle the constant doom and gloom. This team is amazing if we could ever be healthy. We are stuck and management tried to fix with additions such as perron. There is a lot to be hopeful for if we are healthy heading to the post season. Every team has holes...LA may not make the playoffs and they were and still are considered to be a extremely solid team. If nothing else...his team flames out and doesnt make the dance...we should see even more significant changes. I just perfer less negativity when talking hockey...I love this sport. Its fun..and should remain that way

We don't like to draft. We would rather trade our picks

I don't think someone of his caliber can stay cold this long. And its not like he hasn't had good shots and chances, a lot of our players have, I think goalies are just having very good games against us lately and lesser performances the day before or after ~_~

He was demoted it seemed for being lazy and clearly not productive. I still want to see a geno sid shift or two here in the third...they both need some talent to work with sometimes. Desperation time HCMJ...this is two headed monster time.

I would be fine with him not scoring if he was playing with that edge and drive to the net that he had when he arrived.

Downie is in time out this game. Based on the Flyers PP scoring rate this game I don't think we can absorb the mandatory Downie penalty the refs are required to call these days.

I liked his game after the trade. He back checked like a demon, stole pucks and was solid in all areas. He seems to have just disappeared. I wonder how many guys are playing dinged up that we don't know about. I particularly wonder about him.

Rangers might as well with their last pick in the first round. I mean the one kid that showed any promise they traded away for two yrs of a street cone and if you're going to make picks like Dylan Mcilrath you might as well trade them away. Kid is a tripod. That's like pissing in a head wind.

I'd take the penalty in order to field a team I could be proud of. Bennett is embarrassing to have in a lineup.

Pittsburgh is second in minors, and first in misconducts (by 7!). Pittsburgh is third in majors. League leaders in game misconducts. Pittsburgh is the undisputed total PIM leader in the NHL. The Penguins average 14.1 PIM per game. High PK% (2nd overall) is not very impressive considering the undisciplined constitution of the squad.

If the Penguins fall to 9th and the PK is still 2nd, does it make a difference?
