Pretty much what everyone expected..I would have been curious to see these lines:

Sedin Sedin Burrows
Baertschi Bonino Vrbata
Kenins Horvat Hansen
Higgins Matthias Dorsett

Swap Kenins or Higgins if need be.

What's going on with Kassassin?

I'd like to see
Sedin Sedin Vrbata
Matthias Bonino Burrows
Baertschi Horvat Hansen
Higgins Vey Dorsett
...

Back injury I believe. And people are expecting that Richardson had a significant foot/ankle injury and may have rushed back.

Impressive that over 78% of @WHLGiants blueliner Brennan Menell's assists this season were primary (1st). Tops among draft-eligible #WHL D.

Impressive!!

Speaking of awful...did you catch Scrivens performance against the Kings last night? Holy (frank) that guy is just terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edmonton has many issues. Top 3 problems are:

1. Lowe
2. Katy
3. Goaltending

Thanks for the song... but
1 + 1 = 2

LA beating up teams in the Central is better than in the Pacific and it gives us the chance to do what Chicago did if we do our part and win in the playoffs against Calgary and then the Mild, which is face a depleted LA team to win the WCF and then go to the SCF and play the Rags where we get revenge for 94'... and against AV and his stupid goalchie moves...

How can you say goaltending after seeing Dubnyk tear it up with Minnesota? It's not the goalies fault The team has a losing culture and keeps tanking for the next Gretzky to save them.

Here are the real top 3 problems..

1.Lowe
2. Katy
3. MacT

I agree. Eddie though has been solid so if Miller shows he isn't game ready I roll with Lack, he has been quite good and I for one am very comfortable with him between the pipes.
- thundachunk

It's a tricky situation because in the playoffs we won't have much time to steady the ship if the wrong call is made. It will all come down to the timing of when Miller is officially game fit.

Given how the Sedins have been muted of late I'd like to see Baertshci go straight to the top line. The Horvat line is already clicking, let's see what Sven can do in an all-offense role which is what we got him for.

I feel like that would take away from the speed he likes to okay with and he's also a natural LW'er.

Much in the way of Jensen with the Sedins last year this does make some sense. Have four options with the Sedin line with Kassian/Vrbata/Burrows and Baertchi is not a bad thing...

Scrivens has been mediocre to a point but having to play behind that EDM defence night in night out has to be dejecting. Scrivens played pretty great in LA filling in for Quick a few seasons back but LA has had strong D for awhile now...what a difference it makes.

EDM's D will be much better next year.

I have always maintained Dubnik would do well anywhere but Edmonton.

Who have they had that has been a good goalie since Joseph and Ranford and Fuhr...Salo no Markkenen no Roloson no Kabibulin no. Come on. Dubnik is good and has thrived since he left but seriously. Edmonton has sucked for goalies. Nice try though.

Edit: I forgot the almighty Ty Conklin.

On what grounds do you make that assessment?
