Grigs is not a top-6 winger. I think he could be. But like I said, they don't have the luxury of waiting another year because they blew through that first year of his ELC for no reason. Maybe the games he has played recently and will play before the end of the season is enough to convince them. I hope so. I like the kid.

He is an RFA. They have to tender him or he becomes a UFA. So they may decide since they don't know about where he fits in the future plans and what he is worth to just trade him away.

Has to be a team up against the cap, and presumably a team that either hasn't made the playoffs or is underachieving in the playoffs, since rebuilding teams and successful teams don't usually trade their better forwards. San Jose comes to mind.

If Murray thinks he's a bust then his value can really only get worse as time goes on.

I hope TM qualifies Grigy, would be a waste not to do so and see what the kid brings next year up in the N full time playing with better talent.
Personally, I don't see him being here long-term but I do agree they need to build up his trade value.

I love seeing Larsons grow and think he could be a great bottom 6 pivot....maybe him Deslaurier and Foligno together would be a beast of a line to play against as the 3rd or 4th...if they can get to rolling 4 lines.

Still in shock from last night. I wasn't watching, but had the real time on my phone going. One minute it's 3-2, then I refresh and its 3-4. I thought there was a glitch.
