If Sidney's spears are catorgerized by the league "in the heat of battle" and "his slew foots are simple trips" and nothing more. Then since the puck was coming towards him, Staals cross check was a hockey play on a forward who was bending down looking to play the puck, and because he was bent down the stick accidentally came up. It's all semantics and all should have been penalized in some fashion. The issue with buff was the fact that miller was on his knees and the play wasn't even near him anymore. It was just plain vicious.

So I could give a sh1t whether it was worse. Staal took multiple chances at hitting our player in the head that would change our teams fortune and future significantly. So pardon me if I find all the bleeding and hypocrisy from Rags fans more than a little bit funny.
