I know we all want a better draft pick but does anyone really want them to lose tonight? At least we should get an entertaining game tonight.
Also I don't think White has played against these guys yet. That should lead to some fun. |

What would be your order of the teams you'd least like to see win amongst the top 4 teams in the Metro? I only ask because the new format makes it difficult to root for anyone in the first two rounds. I guess I go
1. Rangers
2. Pens
3. Islanders
4. Caps - PhillySportsGuy
This is probably my list, as well.
I've always liked Barry Trotz, who worked so long in Nashville with little to show for it, so I'm OK with seeing him finally succeed.
The Islanders had been terrible for the longest time, so they are kind of new money right now.
Of course, I don't want to see the Pens go far, but I don't think there is a fear of that. I don't think they are all that well constructed, either, and I don't know what has to be done to fix that team. I could see them getting swept in Round 1 as easily as I can see them in the ECF.
For me, the Rangers are always the team to hate the most. I will toast to their failure, should it happen, but I think they are gonna go back to the Finals. |

These game really don't matter so the points certainly don't help.
If they do win I hope its led by Jake going on a tear. |

If McDavid and Eichel go 1,2 and and Hanifin Strome and Marner go on some order of 3,4,5 I really think we are selecting one of Barzal, Provorov or Rantanen. Crouse would surprise me tbh. Werenski and Zacha have outside shots of being selected in that range as well but I think if you're picking 7 or 8 its reaching just a tiny bit. |

Absolutely. Lose. We're behind CBJ and NJ could move past us as well if the Flyers would just stop getting meaningless points. Get Jake a goal and some assists, hold Crysby of the score sheet, have an entertaining game, but Lose.
Zero Points, please. |

With the blue line the Flyers are trotting out there these days, I don't think this is going to be a problem. |

And I understand.
But my mind just doesn't work that way.
There is no way I can be happy with watching the Penguins win tonight.
I want:
White to pummel Downie
Rinaldo to level Crosby with a legal open ice hit
Couturier to shutdown Malkin and just piss him off
Voracek with a 5 point night
Giroux with a hat trick
Schenn with a Gordie Howe hat trick |

Of all the kids, Morin probably has the biggest variance in potential outcomes. \
He could be that late-blooming stud that all GMs dream about, to an early Bryan Allen, to a 3rd-pair disappointment like Luke, to a replacement-level journeyman like Keaton Ellerby, all the way down to a guy like Teubert who's currently pounding guys in the German league.
I'm not sure any of these outcomes are any more unlikely than the others at this point. - Tomahawk
If LSchenn could skate like Morin he wouldn't be a 3rd pair disappointment. |

The Pens are pretty banged up themselves and the Canes are their usual mess. This could be a frustrating end to the season easily. |

I'd prefer Alt, Lauridsen and Manning, but CC and Streit are back in tonight, right? |

Manning is still with the Flyers. The other two will play for the Phantoms tonight in Norfolk. |

In Carolina they have. At home in December the Flyers thumped them. |

I really like what I'm reading about provorov. If he's there along with barzal, ii'd have to go provorov right now even though I want to draft a forward
Another thing with provorov. His midget career took place in Wilkes barre for a couple years. So he has a familiarity with the Lehigh pocono area |

I hear you Hammar. It def takes stones to stand in there. I'm sure guys in the League you play in can probably shoot the puck 75mph... I can't imagine having a piece of vulcanized rubber heading for my head mask or not. - PLindbergh31
Once, in practice, while playing Junior, I played goal. Once was enough!
Those guys get all of my respect!!
They are nuts!!

Yeah, as much as I hate the Pens, they are in the playoffs no matter what so who cares. I'd be perfectly happy to finish the season going 0-6-0

Honestly, the game and the points are meaningless and I want to pick as high as possible. I certainly won't be upset if they win, but I won't be upset in the slightest if they lose either.
