I'm 100% content with Barzal. I love his game. They end up at 7 they have a shot at Provorov or Barzal. I'm ecstatic with either. There's others I like, too, but they're at the top of my list
- Jsaquella

Agreed. If they draft Provorov I'd entertain the idea of moving Tampa's pick and Laughton to move up for Zacha. If they draft Barzal then the same package for a upper echelon D prospect around Laughton's age.

I'm cool with Rantanen too. I would probably hang onto Laughton tho if we pocked him.

We have the 7th pick NJ 2 points behind us but we have a game in hand.

Unless Tampa's pick is in the 27-30 range, I'm staying right where it is and getting a good forward or defenseman. If there's a guy in particular I like at a spot in the teens, maybe consider a deal at the draft, but there's going to be good value with that 2nd pick.

NJ has a brutal schedule, though, could easily go 1-4.

I think there's going to be a decent drop off in talent around 24-26. If the pick is in that range or later I'd want to move up. I'm still picking Tampa to win the East.

I think there is solid talent that could be round 1 worthy that will end up falling to round 2.

The Wild got Dubnyk for nothing. He's started 35 consecutive games.

Who was the last Flyers goaltender to start 35 in a row? Hextall?

If not him, Parent.

It'll be funny if the wheels fall off in the first round

If we can get one of Carlo, DeBrusk, or Roy with that pick, then I'll be happy.

If there was a draft of all NHL players, where do you think Backstrom would be picked? Would you take him before Giroux or Ovi?
- PhillySportsGuy

I'd take OV before either of them.

The Wild are probably going to have a tough matchup in the first round. The West is loaded.

Are there any specific guys you see falling? Our pick is so late in the 2nd round that we'd have to trade up to poach those 1st round fallers.

I have about 14-18 names I'd be happy with. All three of those are in the group

Bryz started like 17 or 18 in a row. I was thinking maybe Cechmanek, but Hextall in his rookie year made like 25-30 starts in a row.

IIRC, Parent had something like 37 consecutive starts in the first Cup season
