Buffalo is going to DESTROY Toronto on Wednesday. After that we are a win and a loser point away from winning the 29th place championship. I firmly believe Arizona will not get a single point here on out. Their schedule is nasty and ours is moderately easy.

Yeah, i think its strome. could very well be as good as eichel in a few years. It wont make the 82 game ro-sham-bo-ing that we all sat through any better. If we were just a fairly bad team that didnt get any bounces, the strome thing would be easier to take.

Not really. They beat us last time we played them. Don't forget also that Buffalo has to fly all the way back from Arizona. They will be jet lagged. The Leafs have to play back-to-back games but they will be coming in from Toronto. Much easier travel.

I think they hold the tie break against us so we need to go 3-3 (or 2-4-1 I guess) and they need to lose out. Possible but not likely. TO and Carolina are the only two games I see us having a chance of winning. Chi, Pitt, CLB and NYI i just don't see a win or a point in any of them.

People have been saying the won't get another point for 3 weeks now. And then they won back-to-back games. There schedule isn't that bad. The Sharks aren't that tough and they play them twice. They also play Vancouver who they have already beaten twice this season. If they get 2 points out of those 3 games the Sabres will need to win 2 games and get at least 1 loser point in their last 5 games. And that's assuming they beat Toronto, which I wouldn't be so quick to do.

Honestly, if the Sabres weren't playing the Leafs on Wednesday, I don't think people would be as nervous as they are. If they lose Wednesday, I think many would feel much better about ending in 30th.
