Hey, last two games have been close. Habs just need to figure out that against teams that don't suck, they can't start playing half-way through the game.

And that's what I mean. Are there really any takers for guys like Hudon and Andrighetto? Package up Tinordi if need be and let's get a short-term solution until it's really time to give Scherbak and McCarron serious looks.

I am sure teams would like them, but we would get back more DSP guys...

Funny thing about that one is that I refuse to judge it until next season. Sekac showed up in great shape but there seems to be something missing between the ears. I think DSP is the exact opposite. If he can be-friend someone with a much better work ethic and show up even 40% in better shape, he can still be a much better asset than Sekac, imo. Time will tell, and he's obviously not a huge help for this season, but...

I'm not so sure Tinordi is all that attractive to other teams anymore either. Back in his draft year, I thought he was gonna be a stud. Just doesn't seem to have a quick enough mind or feet.

Yeah, it will take time to judge; but I think this will be a complete wash; similar to Kirsto/Thomas trade imho.

His only chance at redemption will need to come in the next off season; he has bust written all over him.

He's going to have to be traded. Probably won't get a lot for him at this point, but I'm sure he can be packaged with something to get something useful back. I know Markov won't be here forever, but you have subban, baulieu, pattryn, emelin and Gilbert ( assuming he resigns) here for the distant future. I can't see him beating out any of those guys for spots. And Habs at some point will have to get a guy to play with subban when Markov moves on.

The one thing they need is stones on the backend and its lets trade him? If he moves on fine, his choice. But unless its a package for a top 6 what is the point?
