Anyone else here think Carrick should have an honest shot at making the team next year? I like this kid.

has the makings of solid 4th marginal 3rd line guy.... had very good chemistry with Sill I thought (from a limited sample size) ...
I like the fact that just because he's in a fourth line role he doesn't simply "not try to get the puck to the net"...

I read that...hopefully he'll try the Reg Dunlop method...Goalie Coach/AGM.  It can't be hurting the chances to have a name in the system that knows what they're doing. If they can land that kid as a UFA combined with the early picks (with Hunter/Dubas making the calls) it's a good start...
Now to wait for the "why would O'Connor sign with the Leafs" trolling to begin.

Guys, I.thoroughly enjoyed the come back win against the 9th place Sens. Felt great to have the tank on hold for a night just to (frank) their playoff drive up. We'll finish 4th, worry not boys.
