Zep is older then Emery and Mason. Is he really the "future back up"?
- SuperSchennBros

If future is just next season, maybe. Beyond that, doubtful.

Born to Run/Darkness on the Edge of Town: fantastic albums.

Other than that he's a singles artist who has turned out three good songs over the past 20 years.

Basically two Cups and a whole lot of disappointment in a hockey sense. Sounds familiar...

He's probably the back up next year so yeah, future back up. Doesn't mean he's going to be here for 5 years or anything but the guy should get some reps in for sure.

Off topic. But just thinking of additions to the phantoms roster next year. Anyone know if there's a decent chance lindblom would come over? I consider ghost an add. Awful lost year for him

Parks may not be signed & Lindblom will likely stay in Sweden for another season.

No? Wow thought he was tearing it up for North Dakota.

Not even an AHL deal?

If it's an AHL only deal then yes I can see it happening.

When you look at the flyers forwards in the pipeline. They could really use some size. I wouldn't be surprised at all if its Crouse or rantanen. Between the two I like rantanen

I'll grant this: his band is pretty rad. I just don't like Bruce or any of his dumb songs.
- BulliesPhan87

I think he is an America hating douchebag. Has anyone ever actually looked at the lyrics to Born In The USA?

If they are picking 7-9, I'd be fine with either of them.

Rantanen would be a fine player to add but unless he changes positions it means one of Jake or Simmonds would likely have to be moved to LW.

You take the best player. By the time he joins the team one or both of them could be gone.

Wish Straka would get called up, VL playing now doesn't make any sense.

You never know what may present itself going forward & we shouldn't dismiss those if they happen if it makes the team better now & in the long term.

True. Just in that case I see both of those guys sticking around for a while. Jake could win the Hart and Simmonds has an A and was rumored to be the piece that held up an Ekblad trade.

Nothing should surprise me with this team though.

I hope for that as well...........I just don't dismiss a player at RW in the draft because we could use a LW more and take that when he's not the BPA.

I don't see them laying down on purpose for 2-3 years, Snider's recent rant spoke volumes.
The rebuild, (philosophy), lasted a whole 6 months.

Rantanen is LW/C, is he not?

RW. I've seen Center listed as a secondary position but I'm unsure how much experience he has there.

Crouse is really the only pure LW expected to go top 12 I think.

Not saying lay down at all, we just never know what will happen.
