I would understand that, but this team has seen what...probably 30 different players dress for games? Yet who has he publicly criticized other than Zadorov (I know he's mentioned Hodgson a few times as well)??

I don't have a problem with a coach talking about some players, but with a poop show like the Sabres have been under his premier coaching abilities...he needs to stop with the craziness of railing on this kid.

IN all fairness most of the roster moves have been on the forward end. On D they pretty much have stuck with the same 6-7 D men. ID be fine with sending down one to see more ice time for Mccabe

It's kind of funny how people like to bring up that players like playing for him, but never mention that there's guys that don't like playing for him. I would imagine that Hodgson falls under the second category. He scored 20 goals on a crap team last year and has what, like 6 total this year? (I'm too lazy to actually look it up).

I think this may have something to do with why Zadorov is even here though. I think maybe he is trying to send a message to the kid that just because you stomped your feet and got your way, doesn't mean you deserve what you got.

I don't necessarily agree with it though.

injuries have him playing all of these minutes

IMO he got the shaft since day 1 with the big club, and should have been on a line with flynn and gringo/foligno to start the season (3rd line)

Ted Nolan would rather play tire fire Weber than Zadorov because he tries harder. Put me on the team, Ted. I'll be the hardest worker there. I'll try my azz off! I'll be the best teammate. One problem- I lack talent. Effort only counts if you have talent too. And, just like you, Ted, Weber lacks talent, which is why both of you should be looking for jobs this offseason. And yes I'm piling on Weber. Screw him and his whining about the fans. Give me something to cheer about Weber and I will clap for you.

sign jargr or st louis to a 2 year deal

flip ennis to rw or hope gringo can impress the next coach
gionta for 3rd line

oh and armia has 4 assists in 13 games now since being traded

- homiedclown

This isn't going to happen. If St. Louis doesn't resign with the Rangers, he'll retire. He wanted a trade there last year because his wife and kids are in CT all year. He wanted to spend time with his family.

imo he played like crap until the trade deadline...he then played well enough to move to the second line then up to the top line where he's playing better than he's ever played...

grigo and Zadorov should no be babied...that what darcy and lindy did and look where it got this franchise

semi-related...is Flynn hurt? He only has 5 games since being traded.

Course, I just looked it up and Mitchell is low too with only 8 games (0 points and a combined -4 for them)

this is totally off base...nearly everyone who's watched this team dating back to last fall will tell you that weber has played consistently well, right behind risto for most of the season

I'm pretty sure those two guys were traded for as depth guys for the playoffs. They probably aren't going to get to play every game.

I will laugh my ass off if McDavid or Eichel refuses to play for Buffalo and demands a trade.

What a train wreck of a franchise and apparently, now fans as well!

This display will likely cause players to avoid Buffalo like the plague for years.

Good luck attracting a supporting cast....

I've watched this team my entire 40 years. It's not an ignorant opinion. Weber has never played "consistently well". Sorry, I'm not buying it.

Well, Eichel got drunk and told Buffalo he was coming for them. I also read somewhere that McDavid's father is a huge Sabres fan, so I doubt he'd refuse as well.

Yeah, I don't picture them as fixtures, but I at least figured them to play 4th line minutes in most of the games since being traded.

I just looked - Montreal only has 9 forwards on their roster who have played more games than Flynn or Mitchell this season. I just find it odd that they aren't getting games.

C'mon Bluey this is tough enough for some of us.

I would appreciate if you didn't insult us, thank you.

By the way your Rangers have a great shot this year, good luck.

Ugh...posted about it earlier today here how I prefer no politics/religion/etc type of talk here because I don't want to judge people on what they post....and now people at work are loudly grouped up talking politics.

If you go back and read the pages prior to this, you'll see that none of us like the fact that we want them to lose. But there's no real reason to cheer for them to win right now. They're a joke of a franchise. Is that our fault? No. Even as terrible as they were last year, we renewed our season ticket base at a 97% rate. It's not like Toronto where the majority of the season ticket holders are corporate entities. This season has been really tough on everyone here, so we would appreciate it if you didn't feel the need to come in and rub some more salt in the wound.

This is my last post to you in regards to this.

that's where I see Gionta next year. I'd love to flip ennis, 1st abd a prospect or two for kessel, and sign stewart or Williams for line two. But I'm dreaming too much on that.
