Good question...too bad there's no more capgeek, so I have no idea how they fit under the cap. I assume they aren't making much.
And I doubt they're NHL ready, but they will get a taste. My guess is Paliotta may be closer, but don't expect any help for the playoffs.
I'm just hopeful for the future. Can't have to much depth in the system. - ArlingtonRob

Pirri 19 goals in 40 games. That happens all the time in this league. - TrueGrit
I don't want him. He can't play Defense. 40 goals/year pace, nah. he's not a 200ft player...he's a 0.5 G/Game player |

If memory serves me he was known as about the strongest player around back then. - Al
Wasn't the Bobby Baun lore created when he played in the 1967 playoffs on a broken leg? If memory serves. |

Just like the last time we won the cup. There was Paul, carrying the water in the face of naysayers...oh wait, that was me. Paul was a ledge walker or whatever term you ladies like to throw about.
Don't let the conincidences of wins and losses be confused with some of us having lives outside of licking Q's balls. Though a good pat on the head is in store for you.

LOL. More revisionist history I see. As you bemoaned the benching of Superstar Viktor Stalberg (speaking of failed predictions) and saying Q had effectively ensured the Hawks would lose in the first round because if said benching doesn't exactly qualify as 'carrying the water in the face of naysayers' ... Or do you think it does? |

And hopefully his torrid goal scoring ability will get Florida into the playoffs. |

I did, and when Stalberg returned to line up they won. I know reality hurts your case, but in your case if you could remember what you did this morning, well that would be a victory of sorts.
Stalberg was benched vs Detroit because Waterboy Winkler Coach Q, had to outsmart himself vs Detroit, because he was too dumb to realize that he had the better team. Anyways, after falling behind 3 - 1 after pulling 25, he returned and they won series. Not because of him, but that is a fact. Then same thing vs Boston, Pull Stalberg...lose, put him back in...win. Was he dressed when they won the cup?
That is what I thought. But go ahead and revise history.

Hey Mr. Oracle, what's your take on the Hawks signing not one but two sought after YOUNG players! I realize you said no YOUNG player would ever sign with the Hawks because of the bad way YOUNG players are treated. I'm guessing I am using a strawman here, or it wasn't what you meant, or I am making it up or .... |

This one you are right. I am shocked. Does not mean they will get a minute of time though. They probably jumped at the chance to be able to skate with Rosival.

I wonder if I can count Pirri being a productive NHL player as another one of my failed predictions? |

The broken ankle game was in 1964, the game 6 winner. Leafs won game 7 to take the cup over the Wings.
1967 had the Leafs beating the Habs in 6. Baun barely played due to a broken foot or toe. |
