The WJ team didn't fight any World Wars recently. Also, if they did, they fought for freedom to do as you please, not to be a bowing subject everytime you see a flag.

fully canadian. but didnt like to cheer for canada... was a huge fan of russian playsers and how they played.

i told the gf that i wasnt going to sit with them. ill sit by myself.

I was 9 when the team moved and there is no team in Saskatchewan.

That was good enough for me.

Even at that age I found the concept of "Canadian" teams (frank)ing ridiculous, being that most of the players are Canadian anyway.

Of course, this didn't stop me from being a Saskatchewan Roughriders fan, but hey, I wasn't even 10 yet.

Not sure if this was brought up or not, didn't feel like scrolling through 30 odd pages to find out but I just read on the Sun paper that a lot of single seats were going on sale for half price for tonights game! WOW !! Half price! I think the MLSE should be paying fans to go to games at this point!
