What is a 20 goal scorer ?

(I was kidding BTW.

- bixll

Eh, all I know is in my keeper leagues, guys were bidding for him....and that was two weeks ago...long before he was signed by the leafs. I do think he'll be an NHLer----40 point ceiling, might hit 20 goals. Which isn't bad.

I disagree, competition is what gives people superior product, called motivation
- aminnes

Sure, but quantity and potential market size is a way easier sell to advertisers and broadcasters than quality of on-ice product.

Antropov led his team in scoring I think a few times....as hard as we are on him he was a useful NHLer....

Shut up Wedgie.

My favourite description of the Russian economy was that they don't so much have an economy as they have an oil producing business that operates a country.

All countries operate as corporations, as do citizens, called social security, credit ratings and all that jazz...

agreed. top 5 picks usually play right away, or go back for 1 more season. If we get a guy like strome, what more does he have left to prove in the OHL after winning a scoring title in his draft year? go back 1 year yes to dominate, play on team canada, memorial cup etc. but as a 19 year old against 16-17 year old guys 90% of who will never even get drafted?
- GardinerExpress

Strome's best comparable is Strome. If I'm the Leafs I'm following his development pattern. Welcome aboard see you at 20/21.

The new kid ?? Like his size and mean streak. If he can put it together at this level, he could be a great pick up.

See i would love to go back and compete and then there would be 10 less teams, and the on ice product would be unreal... We'd actually have HOF lines again...

I wonder what the Leafs are doing to get a guy like that, cause there were teams that had lineup spots he could have went to... I hope he's ready for the mess...

Is he the seed that a team grows from, or the root of all evil.
