He hasn't been half bad in Detroit. I think it's more of a Toronto issue. |

I give the leafs credit. They are using their endless bank account and their suckage to get players. It's win/win all around!
If he performs well we get a player. If he sucks it's only one more season he's under contract and we only lost money. |

He wasn't bad with the Leafs (when healthy) either. Just got pushed out by Reimer.
Plus he's now the third string goalie for the Wings. |

if they draft 4th they will
gets tricky if someone behind them wins the lottery
hanifin is still a great player to have, but he goes 3rd I am guessing still

Svechnikov has a higher PPG than Nash. He should also go 1st overall in a lot of draft years. |

here is a writeup i found on him:
A powerful and skilled forward…has great strength and balance on his skates…decent speed and agility, but not a real burner…has the creativity and hands to skate the puck through defenders and then power his way to the net…has a heavy shot that when it hits its mark, is pro caliber…uses his strength and long reach to protect the puck well…not much of a defensive game at this point…goes through long stretches where he is ineffective or downright invisible…can be physical, but also undisciplined…has great upside, but some bust potential as well.
